abstract = "The Amazon basin presents, due to the territorial greatness,
geomorphological, relief and hydroclimate characteristics with
high variability. These characteristics associated to the
variation of the use and soil occupation, demonstrate several
behavior in the dynamics and hydrological responses in its
hydrographical basins. Vontade igarap{\'e} Sub-basin, 14.581,79
hectares, is located in the northeast portion of the state of
Roraima in one of the largest savanna blocks in South America, in
the Rio Branco Basin. The association of the land use map and soil
cover, classified by the images captured from the Landsat8
satellite, with the soil class map, results in the mapping of the
Hydrological Response Units, that are regions of homogeneous
hydrological behavior. The definition of the HRUs is the aim of
this work, understanding that is the basis for hydrological
studies in the region. The land use and occupation units mapped
were the: soil exposed, forest, tillage, path / Buriti, Water,
agriculture, wetland, artificial lake and reforestation /
afforestation, all in areas of Latosol and / or Plinthsol. Six
Hydrological Response Units have been attributed as areas of the
sub-basin with 54.49% of Campos, Cerrados and Steppe in deep soil,
22.75% of Wetlands and Floodplain, 15.17% of Forests In deep
soils, 6.08% of Farms in Deep Soils, 0.63% Spaced or Non-Existent
Vegetation in Soils and 0.88 Water. The HRUs of the Sub-basin
under study confirm their characteristics of Savana, as well as
the importance of the dynamics of the flooded areas and planted
forests in the hydrological behavior.",
